Panel Widgets & Layout
Every panel surface - the desktop dashboard, a paired phone, a touch panel, an on-device screen - runs the same widget engine. Each device keeps its own layout, so your phone, your Y70, and your desktop can each show different widgets, arranged differently.
1. Adding widgets
- On a touch panel or phone: swipe up from the bottom edge to open the actions tray, then tap Add widget.
- On the desktop dashboard: click Add Widget at the top of the Dashboard tab.
- From a panel's device page: open the device under Devices and use Add Widget on its Widgets tab - you edit the panel through a live preview.
The catalog shows a preview of every widget. Filter with Search widgets..., and set a Preferred widget size to control the size widgets are added at. Entries that are dimmed need more room than the layout has left - try a smaller size, or clear space first.
2. Moving, resizing, removing
Long-press a widget (touch) or right-click it (mouse) to open its menu; a drag started from that moment moves the widget. Widgets sit wherever you drop them on the grid - gaps are allowed and never auto-filled. While dragging, hold the widget at the left or right edge of the screen for a moment to carry it to the neighboring page.
The widget menu also offers:
- A size row to resize the widget among its supported sizes (widgets come in 1x1, 2x2, 4x2, and 4x4 grid sizes).
- Edit - opens the widget's settings sheet, with its Layout section for Size and placement.
- Immersive mode - expands the widget to fill the panel, where the widget supports it. A plain tap on such a widget does the same.
- Remove - takes the widget off the layout.
3. Pages
When a widget will not fit on any existing page, it lands on a new page automatically. Swipe left or right (or use the pager) to move between pages; a page left empty is cleaned up on its own. The embedded desktop dashboard is the one single-page surface: when it is full, the catalog says so and asks you to remove or resize a widget first.
4. The widget catalog
The built-in widgets: Benchmark, Calculator, Calendar, Camera, Clock, Cooling, Deck, Diagnostics, Discord, Displays, Emoji, Gallery, Home Assistant, Lighting, Media, Monitoring, OBS, Screen Time, Smart Lights, Steam, Stocks, Stopwatch, Timer, Send to PC, Twitch Chat, and Weather.
Availability adapts to the surface: widgets that need touch input are hidden on displays without it, Send to PC only appears on a paired remote device (it sends things to the PC), and single-widget screens list only the widgets that fit their tile. See Touch Panels & Screens for the per-device details.
Tip
Layouts follow the device, not the editor: change a phone's layout from the dashboard and the phone updates live, or edit straight on the phone - both write to the same layout.
Backgrounds, opacity, and spacing live one page over, in Panel Appearance.
